Butla has jumped to 215.3 if it can stay up there until May 1 that place will be hog city USA. Last time it was that high i killed em trolling in a bean field. Had to troll with the rows.

mr jim fish, someone told me they read in the paper where it was 215 but it is up to 225 based on rivergauges.com and it is steadly rising so after this next rain i wouldnt be suprised to see 228 or so. was that posted in the appeal?
Hey Mr. Jim and MSBanker, I also saw that it was up to 225 plus. I have never seen it that high. A fishin buddy of mine went this past weekend and had no luck, anyone else catchin any over there in Hog City??:rolleyes:
The best year I ever had there it was 232 in July.

I believe that was 2002 when it was 232. I am not sure though. Me and possum cop had some really good trips then
Think it was 2004 dug around and found some old pics. Caught some 4lbers that year and a bunch of 3s.

It was the spring of 2002. Water was at 232.
Anybody fishing butla this sat. Was going to fish the Crappie USA tournment. But water 226; bet it going to be tough to find them fish.
