Howdy matthew84, I live in Searcy, see you live in Walnut Ridge, guess you fish the Black River waters, never fished them but I had a fireman buddy when I lived in J'boro that used to tear them up at Shirey Bay, never fished it but always wanted to.
I fish the White, Cache, Bayou Deview and Des Arc waters(oxbows, sloughs , drainage ditches and just about anyplace I think that might hold crappie).
Lots of water at present, but tomorrow am going to find someplace to dunk a minner, know some Des Arc backwater where I have caught crappie, will probably try there.
