We were fishing yesterday (thursday) up in the shallows and just trying some things for the tourney. I wasnt feeling well early, and Hound wasnt feel well about lunch time. he decided we had call it a day and I told him that I thought we should go and try to fish bell stumps and salvage some of the day since we didnt catch many! He elected to head home since he was feeling bad, and now that he sees your post he realizes i may have been right!
Now, mr Cracker68 and I fished bell stumps this afternoon and caught 10 good fish in about 1.5hrs. Not alot, but heck ill take 10 per hour every day!!!!!!!!

We caught all our fish on a jig tipped with a minnow!!!
Oh yea, I got to meet a big ole jumping carp at Reelfoot today. Sucker came out of the water and hit me in the upper arm. Knocked the crap out of me. Had several of them hit the boat. they were jumping all over the place.
We need to have a jumping carp tourney.

Right now thursday looks like the best day, but who knows about the weather
We did not fish the tourney, but did fish, it was slow but a few fish were caught!
appreciate the info, will be staying around Samburg. This weather is flat crazy.
I fished Sunday 9 am till around 3pm. Fished around Keystone and Champy Pocket. Finished up with 18 pretty nice fish most around a pound with a few tipping out at 1lbs 6oz.
Sun came out around 1:00 wind layed and water like glass out there for a little while.
Water Temp 48 degrees.

I went yesterday with my dad, and made the mistake of going early. We were there from 6:30 -12:00 and talked 8 in to giving up and jump in the boat. They were all good fish and caught them 6ft deep, and man was that wind though. It was a lot of people there but they were not catching much.
I fished Sunday until 11 and kept 12 and today until noon and kept 17. I showed up at the Bluebank area at 3:30 Saturday but nobody showed. I assumed the weather forcast messed it up.
I got up early and was going to the lake, and saw several bolts of lightning and decided I would stay indoors saturday.
Hey cracker. I met a guy at the campground this weekend that knows you. He was telling me about a guy that had a carp jump in his boat!
Im headin over Fri, if the weather holds, Keystone sounds good, may do a little jiggin. Wife has got the itch pretty bad. She likes fishin the trees, iswear that woman can cast a minnow into a coffee cup at 50 yards.
Time for a wheather check the last few days fishen been some of the tuffest all year!

Yankee, my buddy fished yesterday afternoon and caught around 40 fish in just a few hours, and he fishes about 3 times a year, so it may get going good this week.
Just let the wind blow its self out this week and friday I'll be ready to round them up.
I am hopin that Good Friday will be a surenuff good friday.
