Fished in Little Red River bottoms so. of Bald Knob, caught 3 , water is to high, couldn't get into some places I wanted to fish
I fished horner bay in black river bottoms.The water has been high but is falling right it is falling pretty quick I think that has turned them off.Everyone I talked there had the same luck.
I've always heard that the fish are most cooperative under slowly rising/falling water. If the water temps are right, you can have an awesome day on fast rising water. And lastly, I've never heard of anyone doing any good on fast falling water. Be sure to stay after 'em...hopefully water conditions will stabilize for you soon.
I had a chance to get out for a couple of hours yesterday here at the house. I wound up only catching fish off of condos in the deepest part of the lake. water temps made it up to 55 degrees, up from 47 the day before. I caught 2 nice keepers & about 5-6 dinks in the time that I was out there. If it wasn't for the approaching cold snap, I would be getting ready for the spawn. It's not very far away.
As a side, I repacked the trailer bearings this weekend also. I tried to make sure that I'm ready when the real fishing season gets here. I should be ready to go. Everybody needs to get your reels re-strung, new jigs on, make sure the equipment maintanence has been done for successful fishing.
I am not in AR, but the same thing happened in KY Skunked. :(

Winds too tough this morning. I'm still using an old 28 thrust Minn-Kota and I had my hands full just trying to stay in one spot! Caught a few small ones and one possible keeper but later let it go.

Caught 7 Saturday and 9 early this morning on Lake Conway. Caught most of the nine between 2:30-3:30 am. Had a couple about 1 3/4 lb.

What time did you get on the water to be fishing at 2:30?
CEB and I hit the pond about 7:00 this morning and caught about 15 keepers. We did see a couple of guys with some limits. One was tightlining a chartruse jig on the bottom, the other was putting on a clinic right beside the walk bridge on the pond side right on the bank in 1 foot of water.

I feel better today.I went to structure where agfc is letting water out of the duck woods caught 3 11 inches and threw back one small one kept two good bass to make enough for a mess.Another guy got four good crappie and two bass.I was there from about 3:00 to 6:00 the other guy about half that long
Caught very few on saturday at horseshoe lake near hughes. Lots of boats trolling and in the docks. Seen very few fish caught. The ones we did see caught were dinks. Beautiful day on saturday, it is a shame we didn't have any better luck.

We went to a private watershed and caught 20 keepers over 10in. Had to leave about 11:00, because the wind was blowing so bad.:)
Gooch, I was over at the pier on hwy 89. I got there around 12:30 am. My wife said I had crappieitis. I couldn't sleep so what better to be doing than fishing? I came back by Gold Creek and the parking lot looked packed.Quote:

Just a late report on Greeson. Friend of mine called me yesterday and said that they put 51 in the boat Saturday. Using pink minnows about 6ft deep around some docks in Self Cr. areas.
