new guy

howdy folks,
My name is Joe. I'm new to the site, although I have been reading your threads for a few months. I have read alot of good threads here and will put the tips to good use as soon as the weather breaks. I'm getting the itch to get out on the lake and bring in some crappie. I live just a few miles from Cave Run Lake so that is my "home lake" Cave Run isnt known as a great crappie lake but i have caught some nice ones in the past few years. Anyway I just wanted to say hello, and you will probably be seeing me here often. Thanks and good luck on the water! Joe

I've fished Cave Run Lake quite a bit, in years gone by. Started fishing it when it first opened :p ... but, that was back in my Bassin' days. Have fished it some for Crappie, too ... and caught some nice fish from there.
Keep us informed as to what the Crappie are doing on "tha Cave" ... and I'm pretty sure you'll get some hookup offers ;)
