This is the Reelfoot Yankee holding these slabs he caught on the foot not very long ago. Hes hush on the date and place. He never hauls in these types of slabs when im with him???? But every time hes on his own he bring em in.
Guess i need to keep tabs on him better?
here is mine
These two were caught up at Big Sandy last January and March. One is 2 lb 11 oz, the other is 2 lb 12oz. Thing is, they don't look as big when a big guy like me is holdin em!
Nice slabs Stalker!

"Big Momma" wasn't even supposed to be there, at that time of year  (mid-April) .. but, this was after the early warm spell and during the following cold spell (hence the layered clothing) :D
It messed up the Black Crappie spawn, and started the White Crappie spawn earlier than normal. I ain't complaining though !!

A fair day with 3 at nearly 2 lbs. I hope I have added the jpg.
what are those orange and yellow things in your pic?
Dirtdobber, we catch most fish trolling. The items in the picture are small planers that we use to spread the lines away from the boat. Orange runs right and Chartruse runs left. We caught all but one fish off the planers and had only one throw back for the day.
HEY HOOKER what in the worlds dat!!!:} Dirt dobber Been few days on the H2o but THats what i said:):):) NO some bout them planer boards fishing lake MICH. FOLKs gonna get mad at me for chit chatten on the big pic..
T.N. hooker that would be a good post for a new thread. I bet thier would be alot of good questions especialy from me wow good pic dog!!
thats what I thought they were, but I don't know anybody that uses them. Can you start a new thread on how you set them up, maybe a pic or two. I have no idea how they work, but from your pic it appears they do. Good pic.:) :)
Trolled this one up on Percy Priest on Saturday. I didn't weigh it but it went 16 inches.

I caught a few that big in river beds around here. Caught one at reelfoot that was over 2 1/2lbs but it wasnt as long. Man I hope i catch some bigguns this year. I think i will take my camera always and just release the big ones like that!
Hey Dirtdobber nice fish. I hope you got that fish mounted. My wife caught one like that about 20 years ago. I am starting wish I had it mounted since she has never let me forget that I didn't.
No, she wanted to eat it. We almost had a fight over it. After dinner, my grandfather called and said he saw the pic and hope she was getting it mounted. She has been kicking herself ever since. Oh well
Caught this one today,2/14/08,on pickwick lake:)

Dobber - Holy smokes man thats a monster. I sure hope you weighed that beast. Did you get that on Ft Louden? I have friends in Lenoir city and have fished loudon, meltin Hill, and tellico quite a bit. Can't wait to get back there.

The first was some I caught in December, the next photo is from October and that was what my daughter caught the old man caught nothing that day. I love to take my kids with me fishing. It does not matter to them if it is a small crappie or a slab, but she does not let me forget about that day.
