about equal-1/64-1/32-1/16, depending on conditions and whats left in my tackle box :)
one small 200 acre lake i fish is a cold lake and i usually cant get bit until the fish come up. I usually never use anything other than 1/32 there. Another deep resivior all depends on the wind and current i fished 3/32 alot the last trips. Its probably a tad more important to me to have the lightest line usually 4# but i will be switching to 6 this year. I have good feel with 4# or 6 with the heavier jigs. I loved the feel of 2# jigs dropped like rocks, but broke off way to much.
For me, it is the middle of the road approach. 90% of the time I use 1/32nd. 10% of the time I may use 1/64. (I may add a split shot 8 inches above the jig to get down in deeper wter) Both work well.
I fish a lot of brush and timber holes and I use a little heavier jig, I pour a 3/32 oz head that I really like it is slightly heavier than a 1/16 and lighter than a 1/8 . I pour them with a #2 0r #1 hook
I use mostly 1/64oz and 1/32oz but will use 1/80oz also.
Phew! Thanks guys, cuz I went and bought a bunch, some to sell and a few to keep, and I didn't even think to ask. Fortunately I got the numbers right.
Not going by what I use, but more by what I sell most of it's clearly the 1/16 oz.Quote:

usually 1/16
Almost always 1/32 oz. I just feel like it gives my jig bodies a slower fall rate and with the single and doubletails twirling; a little more time in the strike zone for increased bites to hookup ratios. Might change to 1/16 or 1/8 if fishing in very heavy wind or deep water (>20 ft---deep to me that is! :D) or if need to increase casting distance to spooky crappie.
I use the 1/16th more than the others.
