How far are you from Paducah?

Rowdy
would be more than happy to fish with you but i live in western west virginia and i fish eastern ky at yatesville lake.
Would love to have a boat again but Arthur makes it impossible to launch by myself. I am just across the ohio from Cincy. How about bank locations or good accesible creek locations ????
I don't think there's much in the way of access to creek banks in your area, at least none I can see on my KY Atlas & Gazetteer map. You aren't, however, more than 30-45mins away from Williamstown Lake (South on I-75), which is the biggest & closest lake to you. You might send a PM to "Fishin KY" (he fishes Williamstown) and check with him about bank access possibilities, there.Quote:

You might also consider contacting the KDFWR, and ask them ..... and they used to print up a pamphlet with all the small lakes access points/species list/other info, so you might ask if they still do and have them send you one. Or, if you're anywhere close to Plapp's Marine ... you might check in with them, and see if they have the 2008 KDFWR pamphlets, or if they know of any place where you might want to try.
Sorry I can't help you out more, but I don't fish North of Lexington (home). And the only decent bank access I've used, is on Cedar Creek Lake, and that's an hours drive South of me :p .... though I have bank fished on Taylorsville Lake and Cave Run Lake, but not in many a year.
... luck2ya ... cp
If your ever near Leitchfield, KY send me a message and i would be honored to have you as a partner for nolin or Rough river.
Anyone wanting to meet me at Taylorsville during the spring
months is welcome. I don't need you to pay for anything, my boat
is small and cheap and I would love the company.:)
I go most every Friday when weather permits.
I start after lunch and stay a little past dark .
I fish with jigs and minnows and don't stay in one spot for very long.
I move around a lot.
With me, all you need is a fishing liscense, I'll even loan you an outfit
if you need it, I have plenty and do it all the time.
I just love to fish with people that love to fish
and usually can't find a partner!!!!:D

I've been saving my vacation days :D
We'll have to hook up some time. I'm always looking for someone to fish with. Mostly it's that long drive, for me anyway, to T-ville. Once on the water I'm ok, guess I just not crazy about going alone.Quote:
