Super! This will be a great addition to an all-ready informative site.
Hey all you dock shooters try this one. Use the deer belly hair, instead of calf tail or marabou, it will slow down the fall rate of the jig.

For a tail or the whole jig, post a pic if you don't mind. Fish small bucktails thanks to Doc, but we use the tail.
Yea I would like to see a of the jigs. Sometimes the fish love a slow falling jig!
Ok guys, I am no guru on fly tying or posting pics but here goes nothing. Deer hair is hollow, as I am sure you guys already know. I use a 1/16 and 1/24 oz. head.
Ok I give up whats the trick to upload the Pic's?????

Nice looking jigs! Look like great fish producers.
Dem will work! Guys out here (VA) use tails and fish bucktails alot. Same principle
You don't have to use Photobucket, there are other hosting sites that you can use ... it's just that Photobucket is one of the more popular and well known sites :
Getting a Photobucket account is easy, and free. Go to Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket and sign up for the free account. Choose the size option of your pictures as "Large" 640x480 ... this will give you the correct size for posting here.
You will need to have your pictures stored on your home computer ... either by having a scanner, to scan film photos -- or, if you use a digital camera, you'll need to have a connector wire that will allow you to load the pics onto your computer. (most digital cameras come with this wire & the program to load with)
Once you have the pictures in a folder on your computer, you can transfer them to Photobucket. Open up your Photobucket account and find the "Choose Files" button. Click that and there should be another window open up. This will have the folders where your pictures are. Double click on the appropriate file or Icon, until you see your pictures in that window. Choose which picture you want to post and click on it ... you'll notice that the line called "File Name" will now have the same numbers/letters in it that are under the picture. Now click the "Open" button. This will send that picture to Photobucket. Click "Save & Continue" button, and the picture will show up in your "Photobucket Album". Repeat the process to add more pictures.
When you want to add a picture to your Crappie.com posts ... type what you want to say, then hit the "Enter" key once or twice, to put some space between your words & picture. Now, "minimize" the screen, and open up another one and go to Photobucket. Open up your Album (sign in) and look underneath the picture you want to post ... there are four lines of address codes : Email & IM - Direct Link - HTML Code - IMG Code. You want to use the IMG Code ... so just click on it, and a yellow "Copied" window should appear. Now, come back to your post and "right click" on your open space. A menu screen should drop down, and you should click on "Paste". This will add the address code of your picture to your message. Repeat process for multiple pictures ... and don't forget to hit the Enter key between pictures & words ;)
My computer has Vista Home Premium, so if yours has a different OS, the process may be slightly different. But, it shouldn't be so much different that you can't follow my directions pretty closely. Mostly the differences will be where your pictures are kept, in your home computer, as in what file folder they're in. You may have to search around in the folders that come up (if you've got several) until you find the one with the pictures you want to send to Photobucket.
If you have any problems or further questions, feel free to PM me.

Now, while it is possible to post a picture DIRECTLY from your home computer, by using the "Paperclip" icon at the top of this message box ... there are some drawbacks. If a picture is posted that way, and is deemed inappropriate, the whole post has to be deleted. You would also have to download & use a resizing program, to get the picture to the right size to post on here. It's one of the reasons why Photobucket is so often used ... because it sizes the pictures for you, before you post them here. It's also a good idea to have your pictures on a hosting site like Photobucket ... in case something should happen to your computer. You won't lose your pictures, since they're being stored somewhere other than your home computer.
And don't worry about having alot of pictures to put in your Photobucket Album ... I have 120 pictures in mine, and that's only 1% of the available space in my Album  (the free version allows you 1GB of space !! )
Photobucket is occasionally updated, and the setup can change a little ... but the process will still be similar to how I've explained it.
Just to show you the size of picture that "Large 640x480" will show as, here's a pic of me showing some Crappie I caught recently :
