Ok thanks for all the help that you all have given so far.I w ent out today and its obvious i need help lol.How do you guys go about finding your spots once they are marked on gps?
Name your spot you have marked. Go to--FIND--Enter--Find by NAME---Enter. At the bottom it will have highlighted---GO TO--ENTER--It will bring up a trail line to follow to your spot.
Ok what is everyones average EPE mine hasnt been below 20 feet does this sound like a problem or is it normal.
Thats normal and I don't think its very accurate. I have seen high numbers but still went directly to a brush pile.Quote:

I hate that gps. I bought one, took it back within hours and went with the user friendly Etrex Vista.
I bought the software for my region but cant get it to come up when I'm on the lake. What am I doing wrong ?
I'm telling ya, that thing is the reason I thought a GPS was hard to work. Go back to Academy sports a go with the VISTA.
If you see it on your screen just head the boat towards it. As you get closer keep zooming in and you can go right to it. To go to the next, if its not on your screen just zoom out until it is and repeat above.Quote:

If you call Lowrance here is the first things they will have you do.Quote:

Page down to ifinder h2O. Remove the map card from the unit then follow the instructions for a hard reset.
When done with the reset turn the unit off and reinstall the card. Turn it back on and the card should automatically load.
Should I be able to pull up the maps after this ? It still says no MMC card installed.
It should load automatically. If its not seeing the card I guess you will have to call Lowrance.Quote:

Just an update.I really like the ifinder and it gets me back to the piles everytime so far even though it says EPE is 20 feet.I ordered the Lowrance Southern Pro Maps for it so it should be much more detailed .
