I heard from him in a PM a couple of months ago. He don't come out to play unless the weather is real cold and nasty anywho. I don't even know if he is a real doc now.

hmm priorities?
The life of a 3rd year med student is one of studying a whole lot. They have 3-4 national competency tests they have to take, and they usually start having long hours they have to put in also, but they can usually take some time off. He's getting ready for Cane Creek, I'll bet. I'm ready to get back there myself.
Been wondering myself bout him. I bet Gooch knows something. And if he is going through the things like the Interns on Grey's Anatomy he is in for some long hours and lots of frustration.
I just called his cell and lvm. Hopefully all is well and he has turned into a bookworm. (Put him on a hook and I bet he would catch a mud cat or carp. :D )
Just talked to Chris and he is now doing rotations down in Eldorado and busy busy busy. I told him we were all looking for him out here so hopefully he will check in.
Folks CEB is working at the free clinic in El dorado for the next 3 weeks and has just been covered up with school stuff. He did manage to slip off and meet us for a few hours of nightstalking recently so I know he is alive. I cant imagine what he is seeing at a free clinic in LA but I bet its not nice.
Glad to hear CEB is still doing well! MM
Good to hear he's doing okay. I figured he was working hard. I just didn't want him to think we all had forgotten about him.
Thats great to hear, glad he's doing OK. See I thought Gooch would come up with something. Did you get my pm Gooch?
Yep, I've been pretty busy the past few months with "work", although it's really not too horrible. Best part is...I'm workin' on a collection of good stories for the campfire...:D
Since I'm down in El Dorado for the month, I brought the boat down here to leave at the in-laws in good ol' Star City. I've actually put in a couple of short trips to CC the past two weekends. Not much going yet in the way of crappie. The grass is still pretty thick, but hopefully it will start dying off some with the cooler nights. I did get to do a little scouting and found a couple of good lookin' holes headed back towards the dam. I actually saw ol' Lucky out there a couple of weekends ago. He's not tearing 'em up yet. I'll give y'all a good report as soon as they "turn on".
I appreciate all the concerns about my well-being...;) I know that I haven't posted much lately, but I've still been keeping up with y'all. Hope I can make it to the fall crappie camp, but either way, I'm gonna have to get down to Greeson and find that guy they call "walkin' small"...
good to hear from you, Chris. I have a bank of those stories also that I'll tell from time to time. It's amazing the thinking that some people have, especially as it pertains to their health. It's a wonder that we've survived with some of the stupidity that I've witnessed. Definately keep us posted on Cane Creek. I'm circling some time for around Nov. 1 to go down there & fight the masses finding the hiding places for the slabs.
Hey Chris, I knew you were busy, from our last conversation at CC. I'm ready for some cool weather so they will get started at CC. Kathy and I will be camping and fishing there Sept. 27-30, hope you can make it out there that weekend. I went to M. Point this past Sunday, I caught 1 good crappie and 2 dinks and 1 gar. The water temp was 74 when I put in and 77 when I left. Another 10 degree drop should get them feeding good. Good luck in school, hope to see you on the water soon.
