Anyone know a good spot to buy lead head jigs with the sickle hooks?
Need 1/16,1/8,1/4 oz? May have to by from Cabelas
Would like to try them out . And see if there any better than the standard ones.

there is a lot of them on ebay just enter crappie jigs sickle hooks
Pete, I've got an order in for some, ''smoothlures'' has a supplier that is getting the molds to pour me some in 1/8- 1/4, I've have a order in for 100 in each size with the red sickle hook.
If you can wait til I get them, I'll give you some to try. The sickle hook jigs I got from Skip's ''Thump It Jigs'' are some kinda fine, if the the fish bite's it, that fish will be supper that night, sickle hooks are very sharp and most hook ups are in there nose, solid hook ups.
Our jigs came in today and they were out of stock on one of yours, the tri-color red/blk/chart,.....sorry.
I can come to your place, or meet you somewhere if you like, I might even buy your lunch, but can't get over that way til Friday, if that's ok with you?.
srm
check out microspoons.com, those hooks are extremely sharp. pm him at crappieday on the GA board
Is this what your looking for i have been using them for a while I pour my own i use the 1/16 and 1/32.

If you're looking for 50+, lemme know and I'll get my supplier to either make you some or I'll put in an order for more and sell them to you and have some extras left over. (I just got 800 round ball jigs without collars in yesterday).
If you want some quality jigs that slip into the tube, those Jimfish make are some fine jigs and he is a fine fellow on top of that. Give them a try!!
SICKLE HOOKS RULE!! Once you use em you will never look back!

Try microspoons.com like drill instructor said...they have painted jig heads in several sizes with sickles...i recently order some and I am very happy. He even cleans the pait out of the eyes for you which does not happen often!!
Here are some unpainted. Have not bought any myself so don't know.

That is a great price! I have one guy I buy from that is close to that, but my Sickle hook guy is way higher than that so I guess he and I need to talk.Quote:

Thanks guys. I will figure out what I think I will need. Then see. As I had a buddy call today. and tell me that he may become a dealer for the sickle hooks. so if He does pull this deal off. I may just buy my hooks from him and pour my own.
SMR Just let me know I should be here. LOL have to see the doctor this evening.
And If I don't' get someone to go and pick the truck up at Savannah tomorrow. I may be driving it back in the am. Let the wife drop me off there on her way to work.
