November to March, the terrorists arrive in April.
Kentucky Lake for me
April
June
Late November early December
May and June up in the north
All the months with an "R" in them. The ones that don't are pretty good too except for the Terrorists.... :banghead
Generally, March thru October, since the kids' school and afterschool activities tend to be the busiest from November through February, although we have some additional challenges to March this year.
September and October for me here in CT. July is usually pretty good as well.
Febuary here in Ga. The big girls stage up in the mouths of spawning pockets. Scott
Most recently (over the past few years) I'd say April to early June, then Oct & Nov (weather considered). I fish mostly on two lakes in the state, though in recent years that's been whittled down to only one lake.
Depends but January to December have all been good, sometimes not.
I do like the post spawn pretty well!
Anything single pole and feel the thump!
February, March and April for me.
March/April/November Toledo Bend. May/June Michigan. July/August Atchafalaya Spillway.
Any month that ends in Y that I can get to a body of water with a rod in hand...Mud puddles in the road don't count, though I have been known to ty them just to see if they held fish or not...
Feb-march followed closely by oct-dec.

If it's above freezing when i get up in any month is good enough for me.
November through May
Mid October through April for crappie. Other warmer months I focus on Bass and Bluegill.
Easier for me to post the month I don't fish Crappie much and that's March. March I'm preparing to Fish the rest of the year except lately. Lately I'm working on a boat, rods, tackle boxes, tow vehicles, Camper, not counting other's equipment. Ordering new line for my other casting rods is seeing light at the end of the tunnel for me. While you're reading this here is some info, the Pearl is a giant Mud Pie so keep fishing elsewhere. I drove over the East Pearl and the Muddy Water was not mixing so you could really see how funky it's gotten.
I just signed as a Crappie.com supporter.
Out West I start on crappie mid-April thru early June. Switch to catfish until the crappie school up late July. From then on I fish all panfish species into early winter.
Now that I'm aging out of hunting I really like the Fall fishing.
Mid March to Late April. When they go from hitting my jig like a baby blue gill to hitting like a great white !

I like fishing in Mar and April and the fall primarily because of the cooler temperatures and decreased boat traffic. Our bodies can no longer take the heat.
In MN pre spawn late April and May can be nuts. Beginning to like October alot as well.
October-April
For me November is my clear favorite. Spring is good but everybody is out there.
Depending on ice out either late March or April.....
Here in Indiana March till maybe middle of June or when gets too hot.
Then Sept to when it gets too cold to get on lake at least for me.
Will fish the other months just not as enjoyable when its 85-90 deg.
I fish most year round (thank you California) but my favorite months is April until November when I can fish and don’t have to fight for spot or see ppl carry bucket with crap load of crappie.
I am getting older and not near as mad at them as I once was .....:Rofl
so I don't have a favorite per say ....
but I like mild weather and lot's of bites ....
fall and spring are nice :highfive
