I got this boat this summer and it had sat OUTside for 24 years,last registered in 2001. new transom floor I converted it to tiller from console added terrova 24v link with i pilot, Humminbird helix 9 G4n GPS
and new carpet. makes a nice boat. had it out twice now. bought a 1997 mercury 60hp two stroke with new power head and lower unit. just finished the break in on that day after christmas. heres some pictures.

I'd take sauger over crappie any day.....nice job on the rehab.

Not counting your electronics, trolling motor, motor etc would you mind say how much you just have in conversion, doing floor, seat mounts etc. What did you use for the floor? Ive been thinking of buying a similar project boat 16-18ft to work on while I use my small 14ft v bottom I just fixed up a bit. Would use my trolling motor, motor, seats and electronics off it to put on project boat.

I had a 94 Pro Deep V 17 for 31 years. It needed a makeover and I decided to sell it and get a new PT 175. I'm in my mid 70's and just didn't think I could handle the work by myself. To me, the Pro Deep V is the perfect boat. If they still made them, I would have bought one in a heartbeat.
I have a pro crappie 175 and love it too, but with how i fish i needed a boat that take on rougher water.! I love the pro deep v its been great so far.Quote:
