The night bite is in full swing at the LOZ. I trolled cranks before dark and picked up a few, but it didn't take long to limit out once the sun set. Tight lining minnows off a bluff in the Gravios Arm.

I have a night fishing light but it really drains my TM battery too quickly. it was a gift so may try and find a more efficient one. Any suggestions?

Alumiglo 24 inch.....I very rarely change spots at night and do not travel far from the ramp. I drive pretty slow during the day and a slow crawl at night. April can be good...May and June is the best...October, November, and sometimes December is also good. I have found the dead of summer can be slow and the dead of winter you can freeze to death.Quote:
