Why does my live scope look like this? Gain set at 72% on Toledo Bend.
high noon and the sun was on your back maybe ? perfect for gunfight .....just saying
Lake full of pollen ?
MO
pollen or silt is best guess. turn the gain down until it goes away and then ramp it back up
Gain down and Color Gain up some may help along with a different color palette, also you can change the setting not to see so far behind the transducer which sometimes helps the forward mode.
Thanks for advice! if you could explain how tochange setting so not looking behind the boat would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again
Check to make sure your transducer is in forward mode. There should be 3 lines on the mount the one closest to the surface is forward mode which has the transducer pointing slightly up.
Yes, that’s were it is.
K just something looks off other than gain and possible pollen, silt or sun at ur back. Is this always or just a one time thing.
Change Reverse range to minimum.
Go to menu
go to Sonar set up
layout then select Reverse Range you can choose from hide, minimum, default or full.
Stop looking behind boat go in setup-layout and find reverse range. U can hide it for 0
Or do what slabprowler said while I was typing.
Getting on water tomorrow with software update to see what it looks like.
New occurrence, haven’t be able to get out and see if update on software and other changes mKe a difference
Yep do what slabprowler said. My buddy was having a heck of a time & told me he was seeing my buddys line on the other side of the boat. I told him to do this & it cured his problems.
