What do you need a heater for :dono :biggrin ?
If for Camp - You'll need Heat, A/C, Rain Gear, a Pool, Floaties, Snow Shovel, Patio Umbrella, Ice Melt, Tow Chain, Fan, Firewood, Sunscreen, Coveralls and a Back Up Tent just to list a few items!
Actually I would use an electric heater if you can. I've used both but any open type flame in a tent would make me nervous. We use a Vornado in our camper, tents and even pop up deer blinds if we have access to electric. They're not hot to the touch, plenty or more than enough heat and have an auto shut off it tipped.

I hear the shower house stays warm!:Rofl
We use a Mr. Buddy Hunter in our deer blinds, works great, has a low oxygen sensor shut off so supposedly safe indoors? We do not run overnight, but have it set next to cot so i can ignite before getting out of the sack, warms things up.
I wouldn’t use a Mr Buddy in a tent. Fire and health hazards come to mind.
The right woman always works well for me. :Rofl
We have used a Mr. Heater in our tent for years during deer season. Hung a tarp over the tent to help as a rain fly. We stayed warm on some really cold nights (until the heater ran out of propane)

Lots of folks use the diesel heaters in tents. Lots of YouTube videos on them. They sit outside the tent and blow hot air inside.
Thanks for the info guys
We do use a electric heater when it’s available but we do go a few places with no electric so was just wondering what y’all thought about it
We used these heaters all the time in our deer stands with no problem

I’d be afraid of a Mr Heater. Electric heater sounds safer as long as there is plenty of room in the tent.
The large size of hand warmers work well inside of the sleeping bag.
