I use a butter knife to scale, I learned on this site to let the fish sit on ice flat over night and it makes scaling and filleting easier. Ill probably fry these whole and peel the backstrap. If you pull the dorsal fins after frying the backstrap flakes right off
Hot dogs will catch anything, including myself, haha. But never underestimate the power of Bacon, here's a video with a guy catching bass, blugill and crappie on bacon. He also has a video catching flounder with bacon. It has a nice bouyancy in the water that makes it attractive to fish
