Pill spins
I painted some jigs yesterday and still had a little room left so painted these 1/16 pill spins even though it's way to early to use them. Thinking of making more today with the cold temperatures hanging around. Attachment 499464Attachment 499465Attachment 499466Attachment 499467

I don't like naming jig colors, too complicated for me. Stocking up on blade baits with the cold hanging around. Made some more yesterday but used two colors of palmer chenille for the body on these. Been using reptile rubber for part of the tail with the bunny for contrast. Attachment 499505Attachment 499506Attachment 499507Attachment 499508Attachment 499509

Setting the Bar pretty high there :)

Nice work you did do you paint your blades? We have done that with the powder paint and turn them into fluorescent for salmon and steelhead in the north west..

As always, I like em Jim. If they’re 1/16 I’m thinking that they’re on a #4 hook maybe? They sure look good to me.

Blades were painted using three colors of powder paint. After heating blade I dip first color then brush tap other two colors. Reheat blade until shiny and shake it for a couple seconds. I think shaking blade gets a smoother finish. Skeet, they are #4 sickles.
