St. John’s River
Fished hard from Lake George all the way to 44 last couple of days with just crazy temperature fluctuations of 40 degrees. 35-75 going high speeds it was bone chilling freezing to strip down to T-shirt hot.
Fishing went from hours on end of nothing to non-stop crappie hammering action.
Gonna fish again tomorrow with another crazy forecast of 30 mph winds coming from the South than West; we’ll see what that does but I’ll be Dexter, Woodruff and all the cuts and lakes between.
Will post pics tomorrow night but we got some tanks today.

Sounds fun and enjoyable. We all like pics :ThumbsUp

I could use some of that warm air.

Sun up to sun down 3 days in a row. Gonna give the Rapala Ion and the vacuum sealer a workout in the morning. No trolling rods or livescope today just jigging pads. Not a ton of fish but they are tanks plus a few big warmouth to boot which might be my favorite eating fish.
Will post pics tomorrow am.

Those are from the past few days of fishing primarily jigging pads all over the St. John’s.

Good job Mud, but save a few for me and most important get rid of that cold Florida weather.

When I was young me and my dad fished down there. We fished Lake George a couple times but we fished mostly Lake Woodruff out of Highland Park Fish Camp. Those were good times. I loved fishing pads but while it looks like a crappie or bass or bluegill should be under every one they were not :dono

Oh yeah we use the trolling motor running the pad edges dipping our hair jigs in thousands of tiny holes thinking the big one is gonnna be under this one for sure. We cover miles and miles with only the occasional catch but that thump makes
all the effort worth it.
