Daiwa Ajing rod question

I already own the DAIWA Tsukiza Beauty Ajing Rod 55 UL-s .
I like the rod , lightweight and casts a 1/32 jig with 2# line awesome . Good sensitivity.

I’m thinking about ordering the Daiwa MX A Gekkabijin Ajing Rod 55 XUL-s N .

Anybody own these rods and can tell me the difference between them other than a little bit of color difference and one is an UL , the other an XUL ?

Would you the XUL , still being an Ajing rod , would have more bend than the UL ?

Still looking for that perfect micro jig rod .

I’d seen them and the specs for the 55UL rod I already have .
The specs are pretty close .
Making me think the XUL would most likely fish the same or close .
Which means I would be wasting my money ordering the XUL

The UL specs

Also I’d read the MX Ajing rods were on the stiff side .

I’ve owned Daiwa MX rods years ago. Most rigid Ajing rods I’ve ever seen.

Thanks Randy I’ll stick with the Ajing rod I already have , it’s rigid enough .

I took the [emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji639]]’ [emoji637]” MX Ajing below Pickwick Dam about [emoji637][emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]]] years back. Caught these [emoji638] fish back to back using TM SOS [emoji638]# test line. Thought I was going to break the rod. I had it bent in a huge curve. Gifted the rod to a friend after that.

I’m always looking for that magic rod .
If the 5’6” Daiwa Iprimi was 8-12” shorter , I think it would be about right .
The 5’ Daiwa Trout X XUL is close .

I’m liking the smallie. They fight like no others. Hope you find your rod chaser. I’m sitting on my hands right now.

Thanks sir , I’m going through what I’ve accumulated over the years, fishing some dragging out a few that haven’t been wet in years. I don’t need another rod or reel .
I have some gift card balance I was trying to put to good use .
I’ve put a couple in my wish list and I’m going to watch them and maybe I can catch one at a deal.

Gillchaser, not trying to persuade you away from Daiwa brand of rod, but since you own a Shimano Soare reel have you looked at their Soare line of Ajing rods? Their Ci4+ Soare from 2020 were over priced in my opinion @$300ish. But their latest entry of admission in the form of Soare SS Ajing can be had for $180 or less...same blank less bling i believe. I aquired the 48sul-s which weren't available before, but never post much about it but recently have caught a few trout with it using as area-type style of fishing and it more than meet my expectations. The sweet spot lure weight is 1.2g which the only lure i have. @46 grams, it's shorter than your 5' Daiwa X at 4'8".
