I have to work on this in spurts. We have a sick fur baby that I have to deal with too. Fingers there so camera would focus.
This again is a 1/32oz tujiinside tube jig, Eagle Claw brand from Wally World. I'm using nylon transparent sewing thread, from craft store. Cut an amount of craft fur and remove under fur. I stack it to even the end that will be loose, tail end. Then place on top of jig, hook side, and put a couple wraps to hold. With a small amount left in front of lead, fold to bottom of hook, and take a couple of loose wraps to hold it. Adjust it so all lead, top, bottom, and sides are covered. Add more fur if needed following same method, just in real small amounts.
Now, I take a small amount of the under fur and make an slightly oblong ball for the belly. I hold it centered over the bottom, with the front slightly ahead of the eyelet stem, and take a couple of loose wraps, check alignment, then pull tight. Lift the back of this belly portion up, and bring the mono back, put belly down in place and take a securing wrap or two, then carefully bring mono back forward, take a securing wrap in front of the eyelet stem.
This is where I'm at till I get back to it. Attachment 496784Attachment 496785Attachment 496787
