Using 20v Li-ion Dewalt batteries

If I am powering a Garmin Lvs 32 with a 8.0 ah battery how long can i hope to have good power?

Same question for a Garmin 9sv?

At full power the LVS32 us using 58 watts. At 20 volts that's a hair under 3 amps. This equates to 2hrs and 40 min.
The 8ah are like 2lbs each right? Why would you purchase 4 of those, at $150 each instead of just getting a 50AH 12 volt that is just 2.5lbs more (11.5lbs) and gives you another 18ah? and at a cost of just $150 for the battery? Then when the first set runs out during the day you have to change batteries. Personally, I'd like to use/carry a single 12-volt 50ah as opposed to 4 of the 8AH batteries.
Then you'll need 4 chargers or change a single as each completes its charge.

I use a 4ah Ryobi and I get about 4 hours.

Weights range from 11-15lbs, there are a few that are under $100. For that price I would take a chance vs using tool batteries.

I don't know about Dewalt batteries, but I was able to buy an adapter for the Ryobi batteries. Just Google Ryobi adapter

I have 6.5 ah batteries in spades for dewalts. I did order some 8.0 ah batteries at less than 20$ a piece. Plus a dual charger that will be mounted on the boat and plugged into the 900w inverter that is already on the boat. I also will have the abilty to switch wires and put it on the boat battery at any time. Attachment 494949Attachment 494950

The weights for the Dewalt? Or the 50AH? I'm basing the Dewalt on spec I've found from Authorized dealers. For the 50AH I am basing it of personal experience with a TimeUSB battery I bought.

Below I see you bought DEWALT 8AH for $20 each? Authentic DEWALT? If so then they are stolen. My guess is you are talking knock-offs.

It seems to me you're complicating something simple. Many years ago, I bought repop batteries for my Makita drills, they didn't last six months. Let us know how it works out.

There is 6 hours. Hopefully my new 8.0 ah will be in Monday. This is just a 6.5 ah battery i have had laying around for a while that i use in my battery tools.

I have since tyed the black box in back to the boat battery. I only use the 20v on the screen. I could not be happier. I get zero distortion from the TM. I took the other power wheel and i use it on my spypoint camera

I have the Dewalt flexvolt 20v 60 v 8.0 hour. With livescope and 93 sv and it about last all day . But for what it cost I could get a amped outdoors 30 hr .
