Against all advice, I got married today! Lol
I couldn’t be more happy. Lots of life changes in these last 3 years for me and for us but I think life is about to get a lot better and simpler now. I took her fishing on our first date and she caught more than me. That’s when I knew I had met my match. I know not fishing related post, but I’m excited and just wanted to share with my extended family on here.

Yep....that's how it starts. First they out fish you....then you marry them, and they want to use your rods...then drive the boat. Suddenly, they are taking YOU fishing. hahaha! I'm near 30 years in with mine, and it's great to have a partner.

Congratulations, My wife and I were fishing yesterday evening,been fishing together since 1990. She likes bobber fishing sunfish, and weed free trolling, counter rod in one hand and a book in the other:)
Word of caution I learned early on when I start talking a little smack about catching more fish,all the sudden more of my fish seem to get bumped off when she netting them:dono

Congratulations, especially finding a partner who fishes. I wish mine would fish now that we're both retired. but it's probably not happening. Not a necessity though, we've been married going on 46 years.
