We are planning a get together on Sept 28th at Miller Park in Draffenville. The big pavilion we have used in the past isn’t available so we will be across the park lake behind ball fields. I plan on grilling burgers, hotdogs and brats. Need folks to start stepping up to help and bring stuff.
There are lots of lodging options at Calvert City, Gilbertsville, or Aurora. Moors Resort is midlake and has great facilities.

As bad as I hate too, I’m cancelling plans for a Shindig get together this year. I don’t know if it is the economy or something else but interest isn’t there.

Man that sucks, we had just cleared our calendars of medical appointments and returned from another trip after COVID. Marilyn and I were just looking at places to rent and deciding on a rental near Blood River.
Dang! I was feeling all jealous about y’all getting together and me being stuck at home!
Sometimes life gets in the way. Barely had my boat out this year. Home project, a vacation with the boss and MIL health issues have taken up a lot of time.
Hate it for those planning to go, but I hope it’s on next year and I can be there.
