Had a most excellent pan-fried spam grilled cheese and chips/picante, but this is dessert. No connoisseur here, I will occasionally enjoy a beam and cola. Attachment 493144

Looks good
Interesting mix, my go to is Wild Turkey & Coke, never tried RC cola with it.
Man I used to drink the same thing…memories some good and some not so good.
Now that looks super delicious!
I PM Slab to move to its own thread if possible. I was thinking how Wild Turkey would taste with RC cola and forgot to open a new thread. Maybe I should have finished my coffee before posting. LOL
I have been on a kentucky mule kick lately.
If I'm drinking a distilled drink and it's Fall thru Spring today the Bourbon was bottled in Kentucky. In fact I attribute my heart health to drinking "a" Kentucky Bourbon mix drink everyday almost my entire adult life. All my siblings have had some kind of Heart intervention, older & younger. Kentucky Bourbon is good for your heart IMHO.
In moderation it doesn't seem to hurt none
Just saw this at 11 pm Monday. Now I'm fixing a crown and water.
Got my curiosity up Rojo. Is that 101 or the more sedate Turkey?
I try to keep a bottle of 101 on hand, I like it straight, or mixed in between pulls on a good IPA. I’m almost ready to go try some with a splash of RC, but skeered lol. If I don’t like it, will still have to drink it [emoji23]

I drank 101 with Coke till my mid 50's then I switched to 80 proof. It was 86 proof for years & years, I don't know why they lowered it. I met Austin Nichols grandson at a Sporting Clays shoot in Ky. It was a Kruger Kup, a big blast shoot. He was there with a wood barrel full of Wild Turkey. I was in Awe. I don't know how many unopened 5ths of 101 is in my bar. When I do work for old friends, they remember what I used to drink so they bring bottles as gifts. Wild Turkey's Rare Breed is my favorite. It is a still a blend (the grandson told me they adjust the taste with kerosene) but the blender has outstanding taste in Kentucky Bourbon. I make and drink my homemade wine now because I developed a allergy to distilled alcohol causing a arthritis symptom in my wrists, makes them swell. I still drink Wild Turkey now on special get togethers and just suck it up on the later discomfort.
J White, well I followed through and had a large crown and water Monday. Was so good I had another. Felt it the next morning :yikes, but was enjoyable while watching old music vids until 2:30 am. Not sure if I should thank you though. :Rofl
