I usually leave them alone, but sometimes have to remove one when they're close to the house. I don't want the grand daughter to get bit. I find a shovel is more effective than a gun, plus you can remove that head with the edge after you kill it. FYI, some good eaten!

The only good snake is a dead snake, they make me jump even if it is a picture of one lol.
I just keep my garden hoe in the truck.If not in the yard,and a threat to us and the leary of reptiles border collie, I just let em eat rats, mice etc. that I am allergic to.Hint: carry a light at night,almost footed a 5 ft nice un in the dark in crocs.Plenty of em here in coosa.

Nice one is right. Growing up in far West Texas, in the early Spring, the big diamondbacks would be on the blacktop roads in the evening. Hot during the day, cool at night, they'd be there heating up after a hot day on a cool evening. Big around as your arm. Roundup for sure, taste like gator on the grill.
