It has been my goal to learn how to catch crappie year round on my home lake.
I had been able to catch them in the spring time for a long time but hadn't spent much time in other parts of the year.
I have been able to catch a few in the fall but not consistent.
I was determined this was the summer and boy has it been.
I have brought home 100 (including 2 limits) in five trips and I believe I can cross early summer off the list.

Good job! I remember fishing in the summer, fall, and winter a lot as a kid but slowed it down after college due to work. Now that the kids are old enough and work slowed down, I’ve started learning how to fish the summer again, too.
