But the bestest news is your the Numero Uno Pop!
:Rofl, been there and got that t-shirt bro. Now I’m the number one Pappy at least in my feeble mind. My great grandson is only 14 months old but when he babbles it’s what I hear. :biggrin
Water snake or not, I'd have to move.
it was super duper friendly bro , bet it been fed a few times by humans , prolly stealing minners er something ? :dono
darn thing was making it difficult to ketch fish , was just all over my line too .....:banghead
if a snake can beg , he for sure was the snake ....
had to finally swat him with my rod tip at one point , to get him to move on .....
No step on snake
Nope I'd still have to move.
Well, you didn’t get skunked—a small fish is better than no fish at all, correct?

Did you feed him? I would have.
One of my best memories is of me and my dad fishing for red snapper off the gulf coast of florida (pensacola) There was a huge dolphin that sat at the surface about 50 yards behind the boat. When we would catch a short fish and throw it back, he'd chase it down and eat it. Did this for about an hour. He never one time tried to get the fish while they were hooked. Always waited until we threw them back. I had heard that dolphins were smart but I had no idea how smart. That dude was like human smart. Was a ton of fun watching him. We tried throwing the fish as far as we could in front of the boat to give them a fighting chance. None of them made it!
Them dolphins follow party boats and ONLY take the best and biggest species, truly a nuisance animal due to that big ole brain…
My dad worked as a young man on a research boat ….harpooning them …:yikes
Not kidding, they only took out the brain ….:yikes
Sometimes I feed wildlife sometimes not , I didn’t feed him or he would a been in my blue jeans front pocket ….:Rofl
