Thanks for the reminder. Sun exposure can be dangerous.
Ouch! I keep 50Spf in da boat…
:yikes:yikes
That's gonna itch latter
we run bigger hats the hotter it gets , might try a wide brim straw is my thoughts ....just saying
They can be a little warm until you work up a sweat, but I wear the 50SPF sun hoodies... and/or a big brimmed hat. Been there and done that way too much.
yep, you is one.
I protect my hands and neck but once summer gets here I tuck myself under a bridge after 10am.
I've spent the last 5 weeks of a perfectly fine Spring nursing a mohs surgery repair. In fact 2......1, I really got my money's worth. My contribution to the public service announcement, protect yourself. 64 yrs of the Florida sun caught up to me.
Sunblock is usually always in the boat, mama always gets on me about it. but I'm definitely gonna snag one of them big brimmed hats. it was a cloudy overcast day to start but the clouds cleared and it ended up bright and sunny. And on top of that what was supposed to be a couple hour trip but the fish were biting and we all know how that goes!
WOW!! That's an over roasted gewber for sure. Don't do that no more.
its the newest way to burn off them old people skin tags , we should probably invest in a patent for it ......just saying :Rofl
at a 100 a pop times all us ole folk , we will be rich in no time at all .....:Rofl

OOOOOHHHH yea, that's gonna hurt. Back in my younger days, while in the service I've had way too many of them kinda necks. Outside most of the day, and not allowed a big brimmed hat, neither. Now adays I wear either a neck gator, SPF50 screening, and/or a big brimmed straw hat. And never say you can't get a burn like that on a cloudy day gents. I'm here to say it's the UV rays that get yah...and they come on through them there clouds.
Thanks for the link on that hat Lund, exactly what I was wanting. It looks like it will be pretty cool (temperature wise that is) and it will be cool not to have a scorched neck.
Whew! That is a bad burn. Like many here, I use 50 SPF. melanoma is an equal opportunity killer.
Bob
Wow! I admit that I am not as careful as I should be but I don't remember ever being that bad. That one is going to be a lot of fun before it's gone.
