Or son is back after a what seemed to me a long overseas enlistment, his first and will be home for about a month before heading to his next duty station in the Northwest for his next enlistment.

I haven't physically seen him in almost a year and a half so having him home for an extend time is AWESOME!

Picked him up at the airport late last night and I was as giddy as a school girl dressing for the prom!

Sitting here today after our B&G breakfast I made and him showing me some of his stuff and listening to his stories of how he received these coins was Super Cool for Me.

Is it dusty in here?

Hoping he will make it down to the MO Truman Crappie Camp which is coming up very soon for at least a night but either way there will be some crappie fishing while he's in.

His response to all that thank him for his service is "Thank You For Your Support!"

So today got even better - I remember 5 years ago standing in our kitchen with him, his sister, my wife and myself and him saying I going to buy a Mustang GT and pay cash for it before I'm 25. Well today his dream came true! He'll be 23 in June.

Even better as he was finishing his paperwork and his phone started blowing up with people congratulating him but no one but us really knew about the car thing. It was people from his battalion congratulating him for making Sergeant. He was promoted officially today!

Today was a GOOD Day!
