I bought a Lunakia rod on March 22nd from JDM Tackle Heaven and haven't received it yet. I typically receive my orders from Japan much quicker; what's everyone's thoughts?

They emailed me and said it was shipped last night. I ordered it on March 22nd, I'm just glad it was finally shipped. Can't wait to tie into some big shellcrackers with it!!
My order from them took a long time back in January. No rods, just tackle.
The last rod I ordered from them was shipped late. I received an email from them saying that it was out of stock and that they are receiving a new shipment from the manufacturer. Took 3-4 days for them to get it. Once there, they didn’t delay in shipping. DHL Express is quite quick. I got the rod in 3 days (maybe 2… I forget).

I received an email from them stating my order went out April 4th and that they would send me a tracking number. Here we are 9 days later and no tracking number was ever sent and who knows where my fishing pole is? I guess I need to stick with Digitaka.

Still not received tracking info? I’ve never had this issues with JDM Tackle Heaven. But tbh I don’t order a whole lot with them. Typically it’s Digitaka. However, JDM Tackle Heaven usually have a greater selection of rods in stock. Might be worth it to email them again asking for an update on shipping status.Quote:

I have a 5'8" lunakia I ordered thru Amazon that says it's arriving Monday. It's been sitting in Carson, US since Friday. It's coming ECMS express, it's hard to tell what is going on with Teresa tracking. It says it went from Toyko to JFK to LAX to Carson. To my mind that Toyko to Nwe York to California to Colorado. I'm waiting not so patiently in Pennsylvania.

My rod is scheduled to arrive on April 25th or 26th they said. Good thing I ordered it on March 22nd, our redear season is hot from mid April through late May. This has been frustrating to say the least.
Would love to hear of your experience with the 63 Lunakia. They usually ship through DHL… which is quick. Hopefully they will do the same in this case.
