With a heavy heart I pass on the news of Vic’s passing. I was just informed by his wife Eileen today that he passed through the night. Our prayers for his family are uplifted. I will miss him dearly.

Prayers for Family. Always enjoyed his post.
Sorry to hear this. I met Mr. Vic only once (at the boat ramp). He left a lasting impression! Thanks to him for all the posts and pics thru the years. Condolences to Ms. Eileen and the family.
Prayers for the family and Ms Eileen
This is devastating news. Vic and I obviously were longtime friends. I was one of the first people he fished with when he started coming to Florida. I spent many hours with Vic in his boat and mine, on Monroe, Crescent, Harris, chain, Lake, Dora, and many many more, enjoying the beautiful outdoors and fellowship of fishing. I am just devastated to lose such a wonderful friend. RIP old friend

So sorry to hear of Vic passing. Always heard from him before his annual trip to Florida. Rest in peace Vic.
My condolences to all of his family. R.I.P. Vic.
My condolences to Eileen and the family. I've told Vic and others numerous times that if it were not for Vic and Eileen adventures in Florida I would not be living in Florida, watching all of the huge crappie they caught as a couple. I've even been their guest at dinner such a beautiful couple. The one thing that made me move to Florida was when Vic posted how he was working on something in the boat and had one of the poles(I think it was Eileen's pole)hanging over the side just barely in the water and caught a 2lbr, they took such beautiful pictures. Vic had such a passion for fishing ,he was a great sport. I'm saddened and will miss him. My prayers to his widow and their entire family Rest well Vic God had other plans Attachment 484318

Condolences and God's Strength to Eileen and family. Vic, Eileen and I shared a fun, productive day on the Florida salt venue as well as on Crescent. His successes and knowledge-sharing are unmatched. God Speed Vic.

Hey guys, haven't been on in a while been busy with everything but fishing. Doug texted me the news I couldn't believe it...Vic was a speck fishing legend, he could catch em and most likely limit in any lake. He taught me a lot and was always good company when I had time to spend with him on and off the water. The last time I speck fished was last fall on Monroe, I was fishing with him in the Red tracker. We cleaned house that day, almost 50 keepers by noon. Last I talked to him was about a month and a half ago....tight lines upstairs buddy u will be missed[emoji1690] this pic is the last biggin we caught together Attachment 484979

I can’t thank you all enough for your kind words. We can’t pick our family but we can pick our friends and Vic picked the best. Vic and I were fortunate to share a long life together (61 yrs) traveling and fishing. Never thought I would say this but I will miss not long-lining from the back of the boat. It will be odd not having Vic walk beside me. Eileen

I have not been on CC for sometime. Today I have just learned of Vic’s passing. Marlene and I are very upset for you. I have truly been honored to have know Vis and yourself. To me Vic was the best spider fishing man I have come across. He always helped me out with learning the art. Just wanted to let you know that Marlene and I sent our Sincere and heartfelt Condolences to you and your family and friends. He will rest with God and the Crappie

I have just signed on, after a short illness, AGAIN! The news of Vic passing hits hard, as i considered myself, as most of you did great friends with Vic and Eileen. If we dint see each other each year we phoned each other.I cannot image Eileens grief--they were high school sweethearts that got married and stayed married. My heart is heavy! Tight lines Vic!
Wow, I was just thinking about him and the Crescent trip we had.
Great guy and fisherman, will be greatly missed.
Prayers to Eileen and family !!
I still remember on Crescent when he floated me and Speckanator some minnows to use cause we weren't doing very good with just jigs. He put some minners in a baggie half filled with air and trolled in front of us and dropped them into the water for us to pick up. Great guy for sure. So sorry, prayers sent for you Eileen and the rest of the family.
Here's a couple pics from last Griffin fish fest I thought I'd share.
