I ran across a PM from you the other day and wondered how y’all were doing. Glad you are on the mend and readying to chase some Slabs with your son. +Cross+
Being out on the water does seem to rejuvenate the soul.
Hoping you continue to mend and get out with your son. Nature sure is a healing place for so many of us.
Glad things are heading in the right direction. Hopefully your health issues improve and you’re able to get on the water again soon with your son.
Thanks for the kind words and well wishes everyone, I’ve dropped in a couple times and skimmed the site but everything has been a bit of a blur lately. I’m still fairly young but each year that goes by I learn to appreciate the small things in life and realize everyday is a good day. Hopefully my son and I will have some pics to share soon!
Thanks
fresh air and fish are great medicine , glad you feel better , show us them fish ....:highfive
I always say "You have to be tough to get older". :biggrin
I have been through it myself the last 2 years. But God is good! His grace is sufficient for the day.
Keep fighting the good fight of faith. You will be back at it before you know it.
Good to hear you are on the mend and getting after those slab crappie with your son.

Got more test results back, heat and lungs are in great shape. I do have severe fatty liver (no scaring tho), doctor said start a very strict diet and go enjoy the outdoors (she knows I’ve been stressed and not doing much). I must admit I’m amazed at the amount of foods that affect the liver in a negative way.
Son and I will be back on the water as soon as the weather works in our favor.
Did your doctor talk to you about Vitamin E for FLD? I have NAFLD and am on a Vitamin E regimen now.
She did not, I will definitely bring it up to her at my next appointment. I’ve had horrible eating habits for years now so I really hope following a strict diet will help me improve. I’m also thankful they found it, they were doing a cat scan of my lungs and heart and saw the liver issue so I was sent for more testing of the liver and that confirmed it. My blood work was all good and no symptoms of liver issues, Im so glad it didn’t go unnoticed any longer.
Thanks!
Good for you! Glad to hear you’re heading north. Enjoy the fishing adventures with your son!

:ThumbsUp
Been through it some myself, I know how you feel. Hope you stay pointed in the right direction and get out soon. We’ll be waiting for those pictures.
Huge thank you to everyone for the kind words and prayers. Taking the diet very serious and keeping up with all appointments, I’ve got too many things to still get done and many more memories to make.
Son and I hit the range this morning (his interest in shooting has grown a lot lately), if the rain holds off in the morning we’re gonna go do a little bank fishing!
Good to hear!
Check out Dr ken D Berry MD
reversing fatty liver!
Also lies my Doctor Told me by Dr ken Berry!
eating the proper human diet can change your life . I’m down 130# and feeling great no more fatty liver!
Congratulations on the improvements that’s amazing. Also thanks for sending me the info to look up, the clear cut info he provides is amazing. Most of what he says is what I just started doing but some is new to me so I will definitely be adjusting my diet a bit more.
Thanks!
Hi everyone I sure do miss reading everyone’s post but I’ve been crazy busy, feeling a LOT better tho. I’m down 75lbs and the doctor took me off of all blood pressure meds, cut cholesterol meds in half and said she suspects I’ll be off those at the next appointment in 3 months. My knees are also feeling a lot better and I’m hoping knee surgery can be put off for a couple more years. I’m so impressed by what cutting out all sugar and eating a healthy diet can do it’s truly amazing. Just wanted to say hi and hopefully in near future I can spend more time catching up with y’all.
Thanks
That’s awesome. Congrats on the weight loss and lifestyle change. :highfive
Awesome news Tatt! Thank you for sharing your inspiring successes
My sis in law is a health nut, yoga instructor, all that kind of stuff. She told us years ago that sugar is poison. Although I headed her words I still indulge occasionally, chocolate is my kryptonite. When I'm not indulging I can tell a definite difference in the way I feel, mostly my joints. And if I can stay off of any kind of sugar for any extended period of time, the weight comes off.
The struggle is real though, LOL.
Roger Raglin has a diet plan that eliminates all sugar and reduces carbs. Sugar addiction is hard to beat but the results are noticeable. Congrats.
That is awesome for you. Glad you are getting better.
Great
