New ride

Miss Vicki hasn’t been very excited about the process of unrigging then selling the Storm Cat then ordering the new boat. She did pick out the color since I’ve ran some form of shade of blue boat since 1980. There was one Camo boat in there.

Her eyes lit up when they brought our new ride around to the front of the Excel plant in Union City, Tn.

Rickie’s (And mine) fun starts when the rigging commences.

Mark Ridl of Cornfield Fishing Gear was first to ask that when I had it at his shop today. I could have done without the measure on the deck but I guess it comes with the package.

I have researched the EVA foam flooring and found out it is subject to staining when blood and fish slime is left on it. Those of you who have fished with me know blood is a regular feature in my boats, usually mine! I see a spray bottle of heavy mix of Dawn dish soap and water as standard equipment.

Maybe that guy charges 2k per day cause he don't want to guide much! And when he does, he wants all the dough!

Don’t know who it is but I’d imagine he’s a very popular and in demand angler. Probably pretty successful if charging and getting those prices too. :dono
