I'm finding it is much harder to get the plastic to stay straight than I anticipated when adding the other materials. Definitely has potential.
Good looking jigs. Have you tried using a layer of thread on the hook shank and then glueing the plastic down?
These are my first ties in quite a bit. My pups are not conducive to having tying supplies out.

Thanks DSJ! All the plastics come from Bob's baits. Also experimenting with fly stubble chenille on a couple.
Closer to what what I'm trying to make. The thread and superglue helped. Plus more patience!

I think these should work on multiple species. Bluegills and crappie to steelhead and salmon. Not sure the hooks are strong enough for salmon but hope to find out next fall.
