Crescent finally
I had Friday off and finally was able to wet a line.. The last couple months have been hectic to say the least. Lost my Mom Oct 2, firls in cheer, girls scouts, 4h , ffa have stretched me thin.... I decided I was going fishing Friday regardless..
I hit Crescent not long after sun up, ran out to 10-12 ft and dropped lines...well, they weren't there. I turned back north until I hit 7-8 ft and that was the sweet spot. I was pushing 8 rods , various color jigs tipped with minnows running 4ft. Started picking up a bunch, all hitting blue speck with rainbow tail jiffy jigs and some monkey milk... Wound up with 22 on the clicker and 15 in the livewell..was a good day

Way to Orion, that was a good day for sure. I fished there on Saturday and did almost exactly the same as you. I fished the south end . No fishing this week until Friday/ Saturday.

Sorry to hear about your Mom, was tough losing mine. I like the size Crescent usually gives up and that’s a nice fish in the pic. Glad you got to go and decompress a little.

Great to hear Cresent is doing good. I plan on being there shortly after Christmas. I was planning on coming sooner but a friend of mine is very sick. Thought maybe I should hang around for a while.Did you put in at 3 bananas. it’s beautiful there when the sun is coming up

Watergate, I have a place up Dunns Creek close to GA. Boys fish camp. It takes me about a 20 min run to get out in Crescent (if I'm enjoying the scenery)
Lots of people put in at 3 bananas and head straight out to bear island or south toward the Dead lake cut..
Hope your friend starts doing better and you get down and fishing..tight lines
