WHO HAS "CRAPPIE BRAKES" THAT MOUNT ON POWER POLES???

Hello. I have zero interest in Crappie Brakes that have to be raised and lowered manually so there is zero chance I'm buying them. However, I'd love to hear the Pro's & Con's from either but I'm mainly wanting to know about people who have them on their Power Poles to know the wear and tear they put on Pumps & the Long Jevity of them in regards to maintenance. I'm not trying to buy a $2k problem but I'm tired of running over fish. You hear people talking about Crappie Brakes but there are no or extremely little "NON SPONSORED REAL OWNERS"sharing their longevity experiences. When they 1st came out they were virtually $3k now they are only $1,200 + Installation so I think I'm going to get them. It is so hard to get real info now because so many people are on Pro Staffs where they have to say all the good. I want to talk to real people. But 1st Concerns/Questions I have for actual owners:

*How do they hold up on Deep Timber?
*How do they effect the Pumps on the Power Poles with more weight?
*Are there more heavy duty Power Pole Pumps needed?
*Can they go forward & backward?
*Would a you run it on a separate 100AH Lithium Battery?
*Do you have to get rid of your Power Pole Paddles?
*If you have had them 2 years would you buy them again?
*Has it effected your Power Poles in a negative way?

If you don't have them & want to share what others told you I respect that & enjoy the interaction but I'm not into he said/she said. I like I said/You said from experience & you stand by while aren't afraid to make your thoughts known:fingerdance.

Hers our version,performance brake kit we sell at performance fishing electronics.You get 2 30lb minnkota trolling motors,stomp switch for the front,all mounting brackets,wiring and terminal ends,everything to install for $849.We install ours also and really haven't saw any trouble out of pumps or anything.Ours we only pull you back to stop you and most of the time only 1 speed setting.Heres a video of the ones we make installed and a link to our website.

Thanks Grain. I don't have Ole FaceBook & try to avoid it so I wouldn't have known. I appreciate you looking out so now I know to buy from them while I get someone to install here. Sending it to my installer as we speak to see what he thinks. :highfive

Yeah make make kits for power pole pro series 2,sportsmen 2,blade and minnkota raptors.If you call you will get danny,he owns the place.Im his shop manager Jamey,I mostly work the back with installs and wiring.

crappie brakes , interesting for sure , seen some of the LS crew dial them up for sure , my version are on my truck , if there is water nearby I might apply my crappie brakes , just saying ......:Rofl

no worries bro , we are all cut from different cloth , my path is for sure WAY different than most crappie anglers ....
LS is the bomb if you got it dialed all up and for sure is the ticket to hammer the crappie
but I get a fair number of fish in my hands with my feet right on the dock or bank
try to convince a wife you need 100 k in a depreciating asset to go ketch fish
and her knowing who you are and what happens when you visit the water ....
not worth my time to engage into that conversation for sure , I could be KETCHN fish instead of "debating that subject" ....:Rofl
when I applied my crappie brakes yesterday ,42 trained to get ketched crappie jumped right into my hands on my lunch break ....
it is my thoughts I couldn't get the boat off the trailer and LS hooked up and get to a spot and ketch that many fish in that amount of time anyway .
and in the end this ......you aint getting back any time you wasted , it is gone forever my friend :highfive

The Family thing with the right person is the real Richness in Life I do believe & understand.:ThumbsUp However, I haven't ran across a female with the ethics, drive, & rudiments I deem worthy to make that move so I will die single & dependant on me before marrying into a headache DATS FOR SURE!:biggrin We ain't taking any of these petty material things with us as we transform into our new energy form. So Ole UnLikeU rarely uses his Brakes unless stopping a moving vehicle.:Rofl Maybe that's why I love boats & being on the water so much & have 3 because boats have NO BRAKES. :biggrin Until I get some Crappie Brakes.
