Here Kitty Kitty!
That's always a funny feeling. You know, the moment you say to yourself... That's not a crappie.

It's slimy... and I'm talking about your jig to a foot up your line....:Rofl
Ugly fish. Pretty jig. Opposites attract?
Whisker trout!
Mud Mullets
Certainly a good fight
Dinner !!! :cheers2
just happened to be testing braid versus mono in the river , casting forever is important down there , my testing has proven to me unequivocally that with the EXACT same float and weight jig , braid does NOT cast any farther and to make it even more of an issue the dang stuff acts like a wind sock on the surface and ruins your presentation totally if there is much more than a whisper of a breeze as it drags your float all away from the target area .
the rods and reels are both similar in reel size and rod spex as well ......so it aint like its not apples to apples .....
the only good news is that it was mind settling to hook the wrong fish and to get the job done well on a fish that ain't a crappie :Rofl
