Nice looking bait, I need some, right now I am more into hand ties than plastics, but still need some.
It will be fun to give these a try, I noticed when he mentioned just nipping at the bait. What has worked for me in fall conditions or tough bite is switch to a small 1/16 ounce jig back off of the school 30 feet and cast to them letting the bait slowly fall to them. Totally crushed the Crappies switching up to this tactic versus fishing vertically.
Got mine today. Put them on 1/32 heads

Use a heavier weight if it’s that slow to sink or use a weight above the jig.

The trick was the slow sink if I used an 1/8 ounce or more nada nothing would swear they were not biting. Watching on Mega live any faster sink they would not even look at it as it sank thru the school. with out a taker.Quote:
