Update on Boat.

Made the drive over to Mighty White Marine to check on my boat build. The boat is painted and they were starting to clear coat it when I left. All accessories are in except for a trolling motor. I’m wanting an Ulterra but I want the new Quest series. Supposedly they ship in October. While I would like the boat in a few weeks to chase the fall shell cracker bite I really want to wait on the Quest motor. The spot lock is much improved and want the Drift Mode. So will make up my mind in next 2 weeks.

Coming along nicely and unmistakable on the water. Is that a wrap with the detail in the finish? Trying to figure out how that could be painted. Going to be very sweet when it’s done.

Usually manufacturers paint these in layers. My Excel is painted in layers similarly and has three different stencils that were used to create the pattern.

Skeet it is done with 3 different sets of stencils. They have many schemes to choose from. One paint scheme involves 6 sets of stencils. I watched a little of this being done. The attention to how he placed the stencil blew me away.

Dave I am pretty sure that is what I will do. While I am anxious to get the boat I don't really want the older version.
