Nice if the fishes will cooperate with that schedule. Last time out, at 9 something am I had 2 keeper fish and was starting to think I shoulda stayed home. But they turned on around noon, and were still biting when I burnt out and gave up about 3.Quote:

That’s always the part that gets me in the summer too - the parking lot and the pack down. Worst part to me is getting sweaty and then jumping in the cold cab. Better than a hot cab I suppose.
I’m coming for em again in the am. Ride or die! Well, maybe ride and give up when it gets too hot, but definitely the ride part!

My hats off to you for just going in that heat Saturday. After working in it last week it would taken a big man with a big stick or a little man with a gun to pry me out of the AC. Weather turned good yesterday but with that Yankee breeze fishing probably turned off. I'm just not that mad at them anymore, Captain D's does all the work now days. I just sit in the AC and wait on my fish... :dono :cheers2

Long story, but I’ve been ducking some heavy manual labor, helping clean out my recently deceased aunt’s house so it can be sold, cause it was too hot. Got to thinking I ain’t gonna be that sorry, can’t refuse to help w that and yet be well enough to fish. So I stayed home and rested.
Working on not losing my other foot. Back to doc again Thursday. My peg really does give less trouble than my “good” foot, so it may be for the best if I do?

I've been wanting to go but this heat has me pinned down indoors as much as possible. The walks the doctor has me doing are inside stores for now.
I had a 9 am appointment this morning. Planned to go to Sardis spillway after. Appointment changed to 12:45 for 1 hour 35 minutes.
