You should be fine. We always to try to plant the day before a good rain and never had any trouble after that. Our big deer very rarely use food plots during the day. Plenty of doe, yearling and smaller bucks though. Those old big ones are smart in our area. I will say patience pays off. This is the biggest deer I ever killed in a plot a few year's ago. Pre rut and there were 6 doe, 2 yearlings and a few smaller bucks in there. It was pouring rain and I was fixing to shoot a big doe, then he popped out. He figured enough time had passed so he was safe. I'm glad I was patience I watched the others for 15 minutes.
