Just to let y'all know, Covid is still around. Mae and I ,after feeling really bad and running fever decided to take test friday. First time for both and both showed positive. Was surprised. Both doing better but man the scratchy throat and cough was horrible. Decided to tough it out until tomorrow, but appears we are getting healed already. I have not even had a cold in the last 12 years, so this was a butt kicker. Anyway, be aware. It still exists. By the way we did the shots, but not the follow up third one.

Thanks for the heads up. Im sure the shots helped, with some folks it can really hurt you bad. Glad to hear you are on the mend.

We had both sets of shots and we got it. We slept a lot. Prayers that y’all get better soon.

I have had 5 shots. Got it back in November and really couldn’t tell. Got it the second time in February and ended up in hospital. 27 hours of fever above 102. To this day don’t have my taste buds back 100%. Sounds like your on the way out of it, good luck to both.

Maybe it's because of summertime, but I have only heard of one married couple getting COVID in the past six months. I think people are just tired of hearing about it and enough people have had it that the serious cases are becoming rare.

My wife had it the last part of September last year and still has no taste! She says she can taste vinegar in mustard but that’s about it!

WOW!! Glad you and Mae are starting to feel better! Thoughts and prayers my friend.

The disease that hit me is called Myasthenia Gravis and she ain’t nice. No telling where I’ll end up at once it settled down. I pray I can fish again.

Have had the shots and boosters . Wife and I had it for a second time about two months ago . I do not plan to take anymore shots . :dono

Hope you two feel better soon , sadly the amount of viruses and such available now a days steadily grows , Covid though seems to have a mind of its own and shots might help to reduce symptoms and then again maybe not :dono

Both my parents recently had it. Both had all the shots and boosters. Their Doc prescribed Ivermectin. Drug stores all had it. Insurance wouldn’t pay a dime on it. I won’t go further, but this is crooked.

Still with us. I am real tired and stopped up. Wife sinus running and she still has cough. Both sleeping a lot. Our Dr. was off today. Still waiting for meds, but over the counter Aleve and Delsym still helping. Food not attractive and tastes bad. Glad I love to read.

Healing prayers for you and anyone else who may have to deal with this illness. Wife and I both had it a few months ago. we both had the jabs, both original and boosters. Stayed away from most social situations and wore masks since the beginning. Wife gets it first, then myself just as I am getting over pneumonia. Fun Times! . I don't plan on anymore shots or paying big pharm for their over priced trash. nonono

I hate to hear it's still kickin. I got two shots and stopped. Wore a mask when in public, not even sure if that even matters. Also got covid after that and, thankfully, my version of it was not bad. I take it very seriously because 14 people I know died. To me, that is very, very serious. We can only hope the thing doesn't morph into one that is even deadlier. I am living my life normally now. But... I got something that morphed into bronchitis and I am still not over it and that was three months ago. Doc is rather baffled, says, everything is somewhat upside down, doesn't make sense. I may or may not have long covid symptoms, he doesn't know. I have heard of three others around me who have had a similar thing happen to them. Good luck to us all!

Do not understand the Ivermectin issues. It was not available here because it was not being used as an anti-parasitic, which is what it is. It is not an anti-virus medication. I was prescribed it as an anti-parasitic, but had to drive over 70 miles to get it. It was way more expensive than the Covid shots. I had one bout of Covid after shots and booster, was prescribed Paxlovid, and recovered quickly. I hope you all have competent medical care and heal/recover quickly if you get infected.

Me and wife are fully vaccinated and got it a couple months ago.
She was in bed with aches and pains. Dr. prescribed Plaxcovid for her. My symptoms were mild like allergies and just got a steroid shot and antibiotics. No fever or loss of smell and taste.
Tired more than usual and she has a slight cough at night.
Guess the shots may have helped from being hospitalized.
We still haven’t eaten out since 2019 outbreak.

We getting better slowly. Mae starts paxlovid in the morning. I had 2 steroid shots prior to catching covid. Second was 2 days before the positive test, so I couldn't have another one. Thanks everyone for thinking of us.
