Impulse lithium arrived today
Brown truck pulled up today with my new cranking/accessory battery.
Went with the 120 AH, and a Noco 1 bank 10 amp charger for it. First impression, everything looks great, and Bill has been outstanding to deal with. Answers my text about any questions I’ve had pronto. I’m really thrilled with the bluetooth function.
Here are a couple screenshots of when I first got it hooked up

NOT griping, but be advised - it has bolts instead of studs on the terminals. Comes with really short bolts too. I know this is probably not ideal, but I have a stack of ring terminals on my + post… had to make a run to the parts store for longer bolts. And the threaded holes in the terminals are fairly shallow and blind holes. So have to be careful with bolt lengths so as to tighten without bottoming out.
Oh, and from what I can tell, the bolts are 8mm metric.
Not to forget, the C.Com discount is greatly appreciated!

This was my work-around for the bolt situation. I would have preferred stainless, but had to settle for cad plated. It’s a podunk town here [emoji6]
Gonna finger tighten with all my cables added in till it bottoms, then use the nut to snug down the connection. 13mm wrench.

I’m a machinist, I live to make things. But if you figure in the fuel for a trip to town to source things, and what corrosion resistant hardware cost now, that is very reasonable.

First trip yesterday with it, only about 6 hours on the water, but I ran 2 big screen sonars, ethernet hub, heading sensor, mega live, radio, and livewell pumps on timer quite a bit. When I called it quits it was on 83% and still 13.2 volts. 86% after short ride back to the ramp. And it spins over the 200 Yamaha noticeably faster than the tired old lead acid I replaced. So far so good!
