I poured and painted some 1/58 chubs on #10 sickles and used 2.5 mm Iridescent#3 eyes that I recently ordered. Painted some to match the Bison trout magnet that I recently purchased. I used these yesterday with a magnet with good success. I really like red in some form on my jigs and these really pop, especially under UV light.

Where did you get the mold to pour those 1/58 chub heads. If you don’t mind me asking Jim.
Robert from Crazy Angler Tackle made quite a few molds for me back in 2010, he stopped making molds shortly after that. I don't use this mold much since I prefer the 1/48 chub that he also made. They are all one of a kind molds. I came up with ideas and he took care of the rest.

Well dang my luck. I bet those tiny jig heads are killer for bluegills and perch.
Most of the small lakes I fish don't have shad but there are plenty of fry in the water and these little jigs are the perfect imitation. Everything will eat them, even monster grass carp, bass and trout. These little snack size baits are as close to automatic as I can get.
