Nice tie
I'll bet that has a great profile when wet. Nice work again!
Looks good. I like the color
Thanks.
The fibers separate in the water and flow nicely.
I still haven't got the EP Minnow look after trying several times, but the results so far look like they would catch a fish.
They still need a real test to find out the bottom line though.
Looks good!
Awesomeness
It works.
Here's the first fish of the day, had eight keepers total.

Very nice. Crappie seemed to really like it too
Looks like I will be getting more practice tying with this material!
also try adding more fibers behind the head but face the tips forward.secure the fibers then fold back and finish as usual. makes a bigger profile and slower fall
Thanks Rich,
I have tried tying the tail at the point and then start adding pieces using the foldback method while alternating top/bottom. That should work but so far not right.
Getting all the material cut before starting a tie and in the right lengths and thicknesses is the key.
I will have to really concentrate and try another tie to try and get it right like EP's jigs.
But......this jig worked well so not too disappointed that it is not pretty to the human eye.
