Bleeding fish really does make the filets a lot whiter. Here are some walleye filets that one was bleed and the other not See the difference

I have watched this video several times in the past, and tried this technic it works and makes them fillets taste better to me. It’s like micky try it you’ll like it.
if you try that in the summer warm water , you will have a herd of soft fleshed washed out fish that might not even be edible , just saying....

Ship,, if you talk to your friend tell him to keep making videos, we watch and enjoy them here. I personally don't bleed our catch but we grew up on Saltwater fish. Crappie are ultra sweet to us as is compared to Speckled Trout.

I have a couple buddies that bleed their fish out too. I gave it a try as well and found my current technique of putting the fillets in a bowl of water in fridge overnight gave just as clean looking fillets as bleeding did. Bleeding them does work though great video thanks for sharing.
