Been very hard to source. I ended up getting the Salty Stage 63 ultralight slow taper special. Blank is 100% carbon and pretty sensitive. Its an Ajing rod but with an almost parabolic bend. Guides arent torzite.

The guy in the video is the person who designed the Eradicator ST Special, and now this model. Had I entered the Ultralight angling game 2-3 years back I would own an Eradicator ST Special. At that time they were available.

Bound to be like a $1,000 rod by now �� I’ve toyed with the idea of selling mine. It is for sure in like new condition as I have only used it around 5 times. I for some reason always grab a different stick.

I regret not buying two of them. As most know I own two of the Diplomat Extreme...really one Diplomat and one Carabus. The TAF blanks that Abu makes are simply great. All rods I own are beyond sensitive....but the STS just takes it to another level with the feel and crispness.

FYI if they ever do make another run though I own 3 of the 6'7" my personal favorite was the 7"2" of which I have 2 and even tried ordering 6 through Kiwi who had and might still, have on their website, hoping that I would motivate somerone. Been in my cart for 2+ years so guessing no motivation. Scott

K12580H, would a Daiwa Presso Air be one of your other WTB rods? A YouTube-r i-fish, a UL rod enthusiast, rated a Daiwa Presso Air ags slightly above his Abu Eradicator 67sul in overall performance. Perhaps the Presso Air could be an alternative.Quote:

They (Daiwa) also make the Presso with the cork fore-grip. I may have to pull the trigger on one.
LVSpinfisher1 do you own or have fished the Slow taper special to these rods for a side by side comparison. Randy if you own one please chime in. Scott
Scott, i wish I do own one. I was one of many were asleep when the Slow Taper special was available! I settled on the 510 just to have a Eradicator RF. Regardless I'm no expert in rod action it still hold true the 67sul S.T s would be more fun than the stiffer 510 "Dominator" rod.Quote:
