Another first for me.
I watched a few videos and had no formal equipment to make it easier, but I took a stab at doing a weave on a rod for my friend Nino. I won’t use metallic for the weaving thread again but all things considered I’m ok with the results. Took me four hours to do four letters. I believe the word is tedious. Thanks for looking and go easy on me cuz I know it ain’t great.

To me it looks pretty dang good. Very cool and I’m sure Nino will think so as well.

Looks great and I'll bet even more greatly appreciated!

MCG1, let’s hope so. It cleaned up a little from what you see there and it got coated last night so it’s a done deal now.

its the thought that counts :ThumbsUp

Every time Nino picks up that rod I'm sure he will have a big smile and a memory of all the good times he and his friend have had chasing panfish down there. Very nice of you to do that.

Weaves of any magnitude are difficult and time consuming. That looks awesome for someone who don't do weaves on a regular basis. He should greatly appreciate the rod.

Nice job. I'm sure your buddy is going to be pretty happy with that for sure. :ThumbsUp

He received it today and liked it a lot. He had family commitments so he had to settle for casting around the yard a while before he had to go. I’m sure it will get wet the first chance he gets. Thanks for following y’all.

Anyone in their right mind would be tickled pink to get as great a rod as that is. You did a great job on that rod, skeet. Really glad he liked it. I'm sure he will be using it on his next trip to the water. Thank you for sharing with us.
